Forced air gas/propane heaters – Powerful blowers distribute hot air fast; best for large garages (e.g., 500+ sq ft).
Infrared/radiant heaters – Heat objects and people directly without warming air; great for spot heating or high ceilings.
Electric unit heaters – Easy to install, no venting needed; ideal for smaller, well‑insulated garages.
These heaters come in suspended ceiling/wall mounts to save floor space and often use natural gas, propane, or electricity. Proper sizing (BTUs based on garage size/insulation) ensures even heat without wasting energy.
